Angelina Jolie Opens Up

Reveling in the success of her new movie, “Salt,” Angelina Jolie spoke with People magazine about her life as both a mother of six and an actor, just how much she loves Brad, and her one real fear. She had taken 18 months off after delivering her twins Knox and Vivienne, and upon arriving to begin filming “Salt,” she almost felt like she didn’t belong. She quickly fell back into it, though, demanding to do her own stunts, as usual. “Instead of feeling scared, it’s like working with the circus for the day. You get to play,” she explained. Simon Crane, her stunt coordinator, admitted that he’d “have to remind her not to smile during a scene where her character is meant to be scared and not having fun.”

On the topic of Brad, her domestic partner of the past five years, Jolie couldn’t see herself in a better place. “We’re not aganist getting married,” she said. “It’s just like we already are. I actually feel safe enough to imagine growing old together.” She describes Brad as a wonderful father; he takes over on the job of parenting while she’s shooting. Now, however, with her film “The Tourist” completed, it’s time for her to go back to her brood while he shoots his new film “Moneyball”.

This doesn’t bother her at all, though. She loves being with her children. “I begin each day listening to Viv and Knox talking. They always wake up first and have the cutest conversations when they think everyone is still asleep.” She and Brad have said that they are not opposed to having more children, but they’re cautious about having too big of a family, out of concern for not being able to raise each of them well. Jolie has described her big fear as her children becoming teenagers. She’s just not ready, she stated. “I’m glad I have a few more years. I’m not ready for them to be driving or dating. I break out into a sweat at just the thought.”
