Golden Tate Gets His Contract

Golden Tate, second-round draft pick, has been selected to play for an NFL team. The news was officially announced on his Twitter: “Praise God!!! Terms and conditions have been reached for the seattle seahawks! Let’s play ball!” He was selected 60th during the draft in April.

Voted First-Team All-American during his college career — as well as winning the Biletnikoff Award, making him the best wide receiver of his junior year — Tate left Notre Dame with excellent records as a football player. Even though he had only played for three years, he was ranked second in touchdown receptions and all-purpose yards, and tied for third in receptions. It has been reported that he will be receiving $3.2 million, $1.4 guaranteed, to play for the Seahawks during the next four years.
