Jack Roush Crashes Plane (Again)
In NASCAR, on some level it is almost expected that there will be the occasional crash on the course. Precautions are taken, and the best support is provided in order for racers to be remain safe while still being efficient. But who ever expected a mishap off the track?
Jack Roush, co-owner of Roush Racing along with Red Sox owner John Henry, suffered an emergency landing while flying to an air show in Wisconsin yesterday. Surprisingly enough, this is not Roush’s first plane crash: in 2002 he landed his WWII fighter plane in a lake. The crash knocked him unconscious, but thankfully he was successfully rescued. This week’s crash was not nearly as bad — Roush was taken to a hospital and is said to be in stable condition.
