Tim Tebow – Sports Wacky Haircut During Open Workout
As soon as Tim Tebow hit the field for practice Saturday night, the crowd that had gathered in the stands to watch broke into laughter. It wasn’t anything that he particularly did as he showed up — it was what he looked like. Prior to the workout, the Denber Broncos has performed their traditional ritual of giving the rookies haircuts. Tebow received a cut that was said to be emulating the Statue of Liberty, with a giant bald spot on the top of his head, surrounded by a ring of hair. His facial hair is still intact.
Other rookies that received haircuts during the hazing tradition included wide receiver Eric Decker, left guard Zane Beadles, offensive lineman Eric Olsen, and tight end Nathan Overbay. Running back LenDale White, who is new to the Broncos but has been in the NFL for four years, posted a picture of Tim Tebow on his Twitter account with the caption: “Look at Tebow’s new hair style … Looks good, rook!!!” In spite of the spectacle that was his hair cut, Tebow still managed to perform very well during the practice session.
